PART I - MANDATORY CRITERIA
HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT
1.1 HSE Questionnaire (attached) completed with acceptable responses: - Focus on IIR & Severity Rate information for the last 3 years and adequacy of bidder responses to the other questionnaire information requests as per Oil & Gas Industry Standards. Evidence / justifications are required for each question.
1.2 Basic Safety and Health Training related to the job.
1.3 Health and Hygiene inspection physical visit (Visit to bidder’s worksite)
1.4 To submit the following certificates:- HSE Accreditations-List accreditations * 1. OHSAS 18001 * 2. ISO 220001.5 Certified and/or meet Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point *(HACCP) Certificate, preferable level 3
1.6 Annual Medical Check Up Record (Samples) and Health certificate (Ministry of Health) samples to be submitted
1.7 Self-inspection HSE inspection Kitchen & store checklist and Cleaning schedule and cleaning checklist to be submitted
1.8 Bidder to submit Pre-requisite program manual for food service and camp hygiene (HACCP Plan)

BIDDER’S QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
2.1 The Contractor shall provide Catering Services within the Company premises and/or campus located in the Bahrain Field as per the required service standards and on the terms and conditions specified in this Exhibit A. Locations:
1) Bapco Upstream HQ 2) Jebal Compound 3) Ruw (Royal University for Women)4) or any other location requested by the company, depend on business needs.
2.2 Bidder must meet all government and public health requirements (Adherence to local government and/or health requirements. Bidder to provide valid certificates).
2.3 Bidder has the necessary experience in similar project 5 (Five) years’ of experience, Bidder shall provide supporting documents as necessary.
2.4 Bidder to operate catering services during the holy month of Ramadhan to serve non Muslims and to prepare Iftar and/or Suhoor meals upon Company request. Bidder to provide a written confirmation.
2.5 Bidder must be evaluated by an Occupational Health Professional using Health and Hygiene Inspection Form from (HSE-058 Health and Hygiene Inspection Procedure) specified in tender documents and to meet all the requirements.



How to Participate?

• Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Wednesday, 18 June 2025
• Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
• For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
• The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.

• This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
• In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
• Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender"s subject.
• Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
• This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
• Micro, small and medium enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
