The purpose of this tender is the Ministry of Education’s desire to provide furniture and lining for classrooms for students with autism, intellectual disability, and Down syndrome, in view of the expansion of the autism disorder program and the intellectual disability and Down syndrome program in a number of (23) schools, in order to embody what is stipulated in the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Law.

المناقصة الخاصة بتوفير أثاث لصفوف الطلبة ذوي اضطراب التوحد والإعاقة الذهنية والمتلازمة داون.

الغرض من هذه المناقصة هو رغبة وزارة التربية والتعليم في توفير أثاث وتبطين صفوف الطلبة ذوي اضطراب التوحد والإعاقة الذهنية والمتلازمة داون، نظراً للتوسع في برنامج اضطراب التوحد وبرنامج الإعاقة الذهنية والمتلازمة داون في عدد (23) مدرسة، وذلك تجسيداً لما نص عليه دستور مملكة البحرين

سوف يتم تحديد موعد للزيارة الميدانية ومعاينة الصفوف بالمدارس موضوع المناقصة وذلك قبل عشرة أيام من تاريخ إغلاق المناقصة، وعلى مقدم العطاء / المورد في حال الرغبة بالزيارة التواصل على هاتف رقم (36318183 ) الأستاذة غادة إسماعيل، ليتم تحديد موعد الزيارة له.

المعايير الإلزامية للمناقصة:

1. سوف يستبعد العطاء الذي تقل فيه مدة الضمان الفني عن سنة واحدة من تاريخ التركيب وليس التوريد وينظر في العطاء الذي لا تقل فيه مدة الضمان الفني عن سنة واحدة في ضوء المواصفات الفنية والاشتراطات المدرجة بمستندات المناقصة.

2. سوف يستبعد العطاء الذي تزيد فيه مدة توفير الأصناف عن تسعين يوماً، وينظر في العطاء الذي لا تزيد فيه مدة التوريد عن تسعين يوما.

3. يحق للوزارة أن تستبعد العطاءات التي لم توفر العينات أو الكتالوجات أو المواصفات التوضيحية الكاملة الخاصة بالأصناف، وكذلك يحق للوزارة أن تستبعد العطاءات التي لم توفر عينات بالحجم الطبيعي طبق الأصل ومطابقة للمواصفات الفنية المطلوبة في الموعد المحدد.

The purpose of this tender is the Ministry of Education’s desire to provide furniture and lining for classrooms for students with autism, intellectual disability, and Down syndrome, in view of the expansion of the autism disorder program and the intellectual disability and Down syndrome program in a number of (23) schools, in order to embody what is stipulated in the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Law.

A date will be set for the site visit and inspection of the Schools s subject to the tender, ten days before the closing date of the tender. If the bidder/supplier wishes to visit, he must contact Ms. Ghada Ismail on phone number (36318183)

1. The bid in which the technical warranty period is less than one year from the date of installation and not supply will be excluded. And The bid in which the technical warranty period is not less than one year will be considered the technical specifications and requirements included in the tender documents.

2. The bid in which the period of supplying the items exceeds ninety days will be excluded, and the bid in which the period of supply does not exceed ninety days will be considered.

The Ministry has the right to exclude bids that did not provide samples, catalogs, or complete explanatory specifications for the items. The Ministry also has the right to exclude bids that did not provide replica, normal-sized samples that conform to the required technical specifications on the specified date.

How to Participate?

• Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Thursday, 31 October 2024
• Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
• For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
• The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
• The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
• This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
• In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
• Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender"s subject.
• Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
• This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
• Micro, small and medium enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender.
