Tender Description

BAPCO UPSTREAM would like to carry out a scoping exercise to identify the appropriate solution for Inventory Tagging for all their item catalog. The selection of the Inventory Tagging solution will require the following activities to reach a conclusive decision: 1. Establish Project objectives. 2. Business Requirement Definition (BRD) by each Inventory Function. 3. Document the BRD 4. Establish the Business Process with Tagged Items for each Inventory Function 5. Document the Business Processes 6. Identify the different tagging media (Tag type and Tag Material) along with rough estimates on quantities. 7. Identify Tag label design requirements (Information to be printed on the tags) 8. Discuss and identify the different handheld devices appropriate to meet the Business Requirements along with estimated quantities for the devices. 9. Conduct market survey for available off-the-rack solutions for Inventory Tagging and mobile app capabilities. 10. Document the final scope of work for Inve

Provision of Tagging Inventory Stock and Scanning Study
1. Bidder has a similar experience conducting similar studies for Inventory Solutions preferably in Energy Industry. Bidder shall provide supporting documents and references. (Document to be submitted) 2. Bidders acknowledge that involvement in this consultancy service renders them ineligible for participation in the implementation project. (Template to signed). 3. The Bidder has the capability to deliver the required scope of work independently and not through subcontracting. Bidder shall provide supporting documents as necessary. (Template to signed) 4. How to Participate?

• Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://e-tendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Wednesday, 25 October 2023
• Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
• For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
• The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.

• This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.

• Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender"s subject.
• Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
• This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
• Micro, small and medium enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender.
