Tender Description

Tatweer Petroleum is publishing Prequalification invitation for the High Voltage and Low Voltage Motors. An electric motor is an electrical machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Motors are commonly used to drive fans, blowers, pumps, compressors and so on. HV (high voltage) motors and LV (low voltage) motors are the two basic categories of motors. Design, construction details of HV and LV motors are mentioned in the Specification provided for pre-qualification package. The prequalification tender package contains 3 annexes; the first annex contains the data sheet, deviation list and evaluation criteria for the HV motors, the second annex contains the data sheet, deviation list and evaluation criteria for the LV motors, the third annex contains the technical specification for both the HV and LV motors, site design conditions and units of measurements.

Tatweer Petroleum is publishing Prequalification invitation for the High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) motors. Applicants shall meet the below criteria to be evaluated further;

High Voltage (HV):

1) Applicant (Manufacturer) has confirmed compliance to Data Sheet for HV Induction Motors & attachments.

2) Technical Deviations / alternatives (If any) have been submitted in Deviation list.

3) Applicant (Manufacturer) has provided the proof of evidence of manufacturer"s previous experience for manufacture and supply of HV Induction Motors as per datasheet (minimum 5 Years).

4) Applicant (Manufacturer) has confirmed that the HV Induction Motors is suitable for installation in outdoor dusty hot environmental conditions (Complying to Ingress Protection mentioned in the Datasheet) and suitable to operate continuously under the outdoor ambient conditions with air temperature (Outdoor shade temp - Max 55OC) without any degradation of performance. Applicant (Manufacturer) to indicate Max. operating temperature.

5) Applicant (Manufacturer) is certified and operates an effective documented quality management system based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

Low Voltage (LV):

1) Applicant (Manufacturer) has confirmed compliance to Data Sheet for LV Induction Motors & attachments.

2) Technical Deviations / alternatives (If any) have been submitted in Deviation list.

3) Applicant (Manufacturer) has provided the proof of evidence of manufacturer"s previous experience for manufacture and supply of LV Induction Motors as per datasheet (minimum 5 Years).

4) Applicant (Manufacturer) has confirmed that the LV Induction Motors is suitable for installation in outdoor dusty hot environmental conditions (Complying to Ingress Protection mentioned in the Datasheet) and suitable to operate continuously under the outdoor ambient conditions with air temperature (Outdoor shade temp - Max 55OC) without any degradation of performance. How to Participate?

• Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://e-tendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Sunday, 09 July 2023
• Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
• For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
• The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
• The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
• This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
• In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
• Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender"s subject.
• Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
• This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
• Micro, small and medium enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender.
