The Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD) is seeking to engage a suitably experienced and qualified provider for the provision of Security Hardware and Maintenance Services at MoAD sites at 18 George Terrace, Parkes ACT and 50 Collie Street, Fyshwick ACT.

Security systems hardware and maintenance services is essential to ensure that the organisation’s CCTV and access control infrastructure remains secure, reliable, compliant, and fit for purpose.

This will assist in mitigating safety and security risks, support legal and operational requirements, protect assets, and provides cost effective lifecycle management.

Cooperative Procurement and Contract Access

Potential Suppliers are to note that MoAD will make the resulting Contract available for use by other Commonwealth agencies in accordance with applicable procurement policies.

Terms and Conditions

Any Commonwealth agency accessing the Contract must do so on the same terms, conditions, and pricing as set out in the Contract, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Contractor and the agency.

Separate Contractual Relationship

Where an agency accesses the Contract, a separate contractual relationship will be formed between the Supplier and that agency. MoAD will not be liable for, nor be required to manage, any obligations, payments, or disputes arising from such arrangements.

No Obligation to Access

The inclusion of this clause does not oblige any Commonwealth agency to access the Contract, nor does it guarantee any minimum volume of work or expenditure beyond that required by MoAD.

Duration of Access Rights

The right for Commonwealth agencies to access the Contract will remain valid for the full Contract Term, including any extensions, unless otherwise specified in the Contract Details.

Reporting Requirements

The Supplier must, upon request by MoAD, provide details of any Commonwealth agency that have accessed the Contract, including the nature and value of goods or services supplied.

Conditions for Participation:

MoAD will exclude from participation any Potential Supplier that does not demonstrate compliance with the following Conditions for Participation:

Security License and Registration

The supplier must hold the appropriate, relevant and current security licenses and/or registrations applicable to the activities and work being performed. This includes but is not limited to:

o ACT Master Security Licence

Contractors’ personnel involved in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of security equipment must hold the appropriate individual security licenses for the activities being performed. This includes, but is not limited to:

o ACT Security Employee Licence, Class 2E

Mandatory Attendance Requirement

Attendance at the site inspection is mandatory. Tenderers who do not attend the site inspection will be deemed non-compliant, and their submission will not be considered.

Timeframe for Delivery:

Contract is expected to commence on 27 Jult 2026 with a term of 4-years with a further 2 x 2-year option periods
