The Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program (RRAP), is dedicated to demonstrating and improving the feasibility and efficacy of deploying RRAP interventions at scale on the Great Barrier Reef. The coral device deployment system consists of small ceramic seeding devices bearing young corals. This project is for the completion and delivery of 3 working prototypes for the dispensing of the seeding devices by October 2026 so that they can be trialed during the November 2026 coral spawning period

Other Instructions: Conditions for Participation:

1. It is a requirement of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules that the AIMS must not enter into a contract with an entity that has had a judicial decision (being a decision of any court, tribunal, or other body with authority to make a decision or determination which is binding on the contractor) against it (not including a decision under appeal) relating to employee entitlements and has not paid the claim.

2.The Australian Government has adopted a policy of not purchasing goods or services from suppliers who do not comply with their obligations, if any, under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).

Timeframe for Delivery:

The goal is to have a proof of concept working prototype dispenser ready by October 2026 to trial during the November deployment window.
