The ACIC has a mandatory national drug and alcohol testing program in place to support the integrity, safety and reputation of the workforce. To support this program, the ACIC requires national workplace drug and alcohol testing services. These will be conducted at numerous worksites in capital states and territories.

Other Instructions: Conditions for Participation:

Collectors must hold a statement of attainment showing competency in onsite drug and alcohol testing that complies with the requirements as defined by the AS3547:2019 (breath testing devices), AS4760:2019 (oral fluid) and AS/NZS4308:2023 (urine).

Equipment and devices used to undertake drug and alcohol tests must be maintained at all times and calibrated in line with the above Australian Standards. Collectors must provide evidence of their qualification and adherance to these standards.

Timeframe for Delivery:

Proposed Start Date: 1 June 2026

Proposed End Date: 30 June 2029

Contract Extension Option: Two (2) extension options for periods of 12 months each
