This will result in a down-select of products then, subject to funding release authority, the issuing of RFTs to successful vendors. Once RFT responses have been evaluated the project will, within FY25/26 funding limits, establish formal contracts with the preferred vendors. These vendors will be required to undertake a live fire concept demonstration of their product by mid-Q2 26. A detailed analysis and project summary report will then be produced with recommendations for Commonwealth consideration for potential future investment in capability development and realisation selected products. Description:

The ADF requires a ground launched LCMF solution to provide indirect fire support to the Integrated Joint Force at the tactical level. The LCMF solution being sought must be capable of achieving a range of effects, at mass, by day or night, and in all weather conditions, out to 80km+.
