The Australian Antarctic Division (a division of the Department Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water) is seeking a supplier or suppliers to provide snow blowers.

The snow blowers are to be trialled in Antarctica to assess suitability for long term use within the Australian Antarctic Program. The snow blowers will be used to clear snow from the ice runaway in use at Wilkins Aerodrome.

Two units of different manufacture are being sought for trial.

The intent is to establish contracts/a contract with the Supplier/s of the two most suitable snow blowers identified from ATM responses.

This procurement activity is for these two units only. Potential Suppliers should be aware that being found suitable in this process is not a guarantee of future business.
