The Department is still determining exact requirements to support the future NIP. Some deliverables may require tenderers to be responsive to emerging issues or external factors outside of the control of the Department.

The Department is seeking services that will support the administration of the NIP, specifically general program support and advice; vaccine safety monitoring and reporting; communications and engagement activities; and program data, analysis and engagement.

Tenderers will be required to submit an annual plan and provide progress updates against the plan if they are successful for any service/s.

Tenders are not required to respond to each deliverable, partial and consortia bids are encouraged. All submissions will be considered.

Other Instructions:

Partial tenders are encouraged. Tenders do not need to tender for the full scope of services, they are able to respond to single or multiple service lines. However, if tenderers wish they are able to respond to the full scope of services.

Tenderers may wish to submit as a consortia or in collaboration with small/medium enterprises as relevant. These types of innovative approaches are encourages through this process.

It is expected that a voluntary tender briefing session will be held, following the release of the RFT. Exact timing of this tender briefing session has not yet been determined.

The Department is developing a separate tender to deliver Immunisation services for the Australian Centre for Disease Control and the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (APP Reference Health/E25-86896). This RFT is anticipated to be released through AusTender in late October 2025.

Timeframe for Delivery:

Full services required to be delivered from 1 July 2026. There may be a transition in period for some services where required.

Contract will be for an initial period of 3 years, with an up to 3 year extension period (extension reviewd on an annual basis) for a total of 6 years.
