Australia Awards are prestigious, transformational scholarships and short courses offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders for development.

Our international scholarships for Myanmar are a foundational feature of our bilateral relationship and have enabled over 400 leaders to study in Australia.

The next iteration of Australia Awards Myanmar (2026-2029) will continue to contribute to development outcomes by engaging a Contractor to provide administrative and logistical support to the investment’s three core components: Australia Awards Scholarships; Australia Awards Short Courses; and Australia Awards Myanmar Alumni.

The key outcome of Australia Awards Myanmar is to build the leadership and skills of the people of Myanmar, and strengthen our people-to-people links.

The response includes substanitally completed Tenderer Response Forms.

The response is written in English and and in a font that is readable when printed in low resolution black and white.

The response is within the specified page limits.

The response is submitted via AusTender by the closing date.

Timeframe for Delivery:

The initial term of the contract will be $6 million plus GST over 3 years from approximately 12 February 2026 to 11 February 2029.

There will be 2 options to extend for a further 2 years each and a further $2 million plus GST each, exercised at DFAT’s discretion.
