The Australian Army Research Centre is inviting organsations to register to undertake paid research on topics as part of the Army Research Scheme that will inform future land force development and modernisation. The research outcomes sought are either articles (4,000 to 6,000 words) or stand-alone papers (up to 20,000 words). Army will facilitate publication of research in the first instance in either the Australian Army Journal or the Army Research Papers Series. Topical areas of current research interest to Army include:

This Intention to Register is being conducted to identify organisations that wish to join of the AARC"s Research Network in undertaking such research in one or more of the following categories:

- The State of Australian Army Profession – The Past, Present, and Futures

- Littoral Manoeuvre

- Defence of Australia

- RAS and AI Governance

ASPC

- The National Air Power Enterprise

- Air power"s role in deterrence through denial as part of National Defence

- Control of the air in National Defence

ACMC

- Civil-military-police coordination

- Civil-military engagement

- Civil-military coordination + maritime

- Civil-military coordination + mis-/dis-information

- Civil-military coordination + grey zone

- Civil-military coordination + cyber/technology

Respondents are to complete both Response document and the supporting Response Schedule and submit them as instructed through AusTender.

Conditions for Participation:

To be eligible to apply for the Army Research Scheme, Service Providers must meet ONE or more of the following criteria:

a. researchers have current or prior service in a national/international military/defence organisation,

b. researchers or services providers have an affiliation with an academic institution or think-tank,

c. be a registered business or institution that specialises in rigorous academic research or strategic consultancy.
