Coal LSL is seeking proposals from internal audit services providers for delivery of Coal LSL’s internal audit program and performance of management-initiated engagements for calendar years 2026 - 2028 (3 years).

Objectives

The key objectives, intended to be achieved by implementation of the proposed contract, include continued implementation of the internal audit program which is a risk management strategy and underpins and supports the achievement of all CLSL’s corporate goals

Other Instructions: Conditions for Participation:

The following Services are required by the Service Provider:

• Develop and deliver a rolling program of internal audits as approved by the Coal LSL Board, in line with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), for a minimum term of 3 years.
• Perform management-initiated engagements to provide management with assurance over Coal LSL’s internal control environment.
• Present internal audit reports to Coal LSL’s Audit, Risk Management and Compliance Committee (ARCC).
• Liaise with Coal LSL’s statutory external auditor on aspects of the internal audit work undertaken, as requested.
• Commit to an agreed level of physical presence during engagements and/or on the request of Coal LSL.
• Comply with all relevant Standards, including the Ethics and Professionalism Domain (Domain II) of the Global Internal Audit Standards, during the provision of internal audit services.
