The Department is seeking to establish a Border Protection Technologies Panel (Panel) of providers for Technologies to support ABF capability. Technologies include x-ray scanners, trace detection, radiation detection, substance identification and other border protection technologies and related products.

The panel will allow the Department to:

a) Establish agreements for the provision of required parts and consumables that are necessary to support the ABF in the operation of technology to enable the detection of prohibited goods and border controlled substances;

b) Establish arrangements that will allow for the refresh of aging, obselete or unserviceable Technology for the term of the Panel;

c) Establish arrangements that will allow for the provision of new Technologies for current and emerging ABF sites and operational requirements;

and

d) Identify new and emerging Technologies and technology providers.

Tender briefing session - Wednesday 30 April 2025.

Initial Deed Term - 5 years from Deed commencement date.

Deed Option Period - The Department, in its absolute discretion, may extend this Deed for period(s) of up to five (5) years in aggregate.

Conditions for Participation:

The Tenderer must ensure that its Tender meets the following requirements;

i) Tenders must include a Pricing Schedule substantially in the form of Attachment C;

ii) all language, including in all attachments and supporting information, must be written in English; and

iii) unless otherwise specified in the Statement of Requirement, all measurements must be expressed in Australian legal units of measurement.

Timeframe for Delivery:

Panel anticipated to be established by December 2025.
