Stage 1: This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks high-level proposals against Mission requirements. Responses to the Stage 1 RFP will be evaluated and used to shortlist potential suppliers that may be invited to participate in Stage 2. Stage 2: ASCA will invite shortlisted respondents from Stage 1, through a limited tender, to submit a more comprehensive proposal, including detailed budget, system description and project execution plan. The second stage may result in the selection and engagement of one or more suppliers to enter into a contract with Defence for Mission Syracuse. Evaluation criteria for each stage are outlined in the Conditions of Proposal. Description:

Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator’s (ASCA) Mission Syracuse is seeking technologies to enhance Defence’s Counter small Uncrewed Aerial System (sUAS) capability against the following Problem Statement

"How might we provide viable sovereign effector options for the ADF Integrated Force Capability optimised to mitigate the threats posed by small UAS?"

For the purpose of this RFP, ‘sovereign’ is defined as a capability that the Commonwealth of Australia can access at a time of need including when international trade may be disrupted.
