The Customer is developing its next touring exhibition, In Real Life: inventors, innovators and opportunists, (abbreviated to: IRL) as part of its ongoing commitment to provide a high-quality national touring program to regional and remote Australia.

In Real Life: inventors, innovators and opportunists will be on display in Gallery 3 at the National Archives’ National Office from late October 2025 to mid-April 2026, and will then tour throughout Australia for approximately 3-4 years.

Currently the exhibition requires the fabrication of 7 joinery Display Trunks and a suite of Object Plinths and Risers. Display Trunks act as a showcase-type display option for Collection material and Objects, and additionally as Touring/Packing crates during Transport between touring venues. Developed Design Exhibition Drawings issued with this ATM detail minimum fabrication build specifications, details and finishes.
