The Department’s Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) assists Entitled Persons to live safely and independently. PRS is one of the Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) categories with DVA providing PRS to eligible persons since the 1990s.

The current arrangements for the provision of PRS products are scheduled to cease on 30 September 2025, with all contract extension options exercised.

The relevant RAP Product categories for this Tender are Personal Response Systems, Monitored (AA05), Sound and Movement Monitors (BF08), Exit Reminders (BF09) and Telecare Tracking Devices (BF12).
