The Department requires a Feasibility Study, including analysis, design and recommendations, to support a transition to lower emissions energy systems on Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Through the Study, a short list of possible systems for the IOT may be identified and detailed scope statements be developed.

Other Instructions:

The Supplier will need to attend Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands to undertake field work.

There will be an on-line industry briefing on Monday 14 April 2025 at 3pm ACT local time. Register by COB 3pm ACT local time on Friday 11 April via email to indianoceanterritories@infrastructure.gov.au to receive the link.

Potential Suppliers and all attendees must complete a confidentiality agreement prior to attending.
