A suitably qualified and experienced consultancy is required to collate and analyse the long-term Lake Eyre Basin Rivers Assessment program (LEBRA) dataset (2011–2024) to detect patterns and trends in all measured variables. Basin rivers are hydrologically variable and detecting temporal trends will require a multifaceted approach.?The analysis will need to explore variations in collected data against temporal hydrological variability and other spatial drivers such as land-use and anthropogenic activity, which would be included in the analysis as co-variate data.

The 2025 Australian Federal Election will take place on 3 May 2025. Now that the Federal Election has been called, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water has entered the Caretaker period. During this time, the Caretaker conventions will apply, and this may impact this Approach to Market and subsequent engagement of a Supplier.
