Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is issuing this Notice of Intended Procurement (NOIP) for our upcoming Brisbane - QLD New Builds Volume Leasing Program Expression of Interest (EOI).

Through this opportunity we are seeking to work with industry to deliver up to 380 newly constructed, high-quality properties to lease to DHA over the next 5 years across Brisbane, QLD.

Respondents who are unable to supply leased housing in the Brisbane region are eligible to participate in this procurement process if they are able to supply leased housing in other regions.

The EOI provides an opportunity to develop and propose your own delivery model that suits your organisation, such as:

- creating and selling DHA-compliant house and land packages to investors with a DHA lease commitment*;

- coordinating the construction of new DHA-compliant properties on behalf of investors to lease to DHA*; and

- building or buying DHA-compliant properties to rent directly to DHA while retaining ownership.

*DHA will lease back the property if, on completion of construction of the property, DHA is satisfied that the property has been completed in accordance with requirements.
