This is a pre-release notice only to provide advanced notification that the NCA is preparing an open tender for the provision of IT Managed Services.

It is anticipated that the relevant Approach to Market (ATM) documentation for the provision of IT Managed Services for the NCA will be released through AusTender in early January 2025, or thereafter.

The NCA is seeking an experienced Managed Service Provider (MSP) to provide the enterprise-wide IT Managed Services (the Services) that are essential to the NCA’s strategic and operational functions. The Services and responsibilities of MSP include:

• Managing day-to-day operations of the Services, providing available, secure, and efficient IT services and business systems to support the NCA’s operational requirements;
• Overseeing the governance, coordination, and management of IT services, ensuring alignment with the NCA’s objectives, and delivering high quality service;
• Working closely with the NCA’s business areas and Other Service Providers to maintain seamless integration, drive innovation, and ensure alignment with operational and strategic goals;
• Providing a responsive Service Desk as the first point of contact for IT issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests;
• Managing the full lifecycle of end-user devices and applications, including deployment, updates, and troubleshooting, to enable seamless business continuity and productivity;
• Managing the NCA’s Azure Cloud environment and ICT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtual environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security;
• Act as the central point of coordination and oversight for the NCA’s range of business systems, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions with Other Service Providers; and
• Delivering additional services as the NCA’s business needs evolve, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational priorities.

Without limiting the NCA’s rights, if it were to contract at the conclusion of the planned procurement process, its intention is to enter into a single contract with a single legal entity that will be the party responsible for the provision of the required ICT Managed Services.
