The services include the following:

reviewing existing project documentation and data, including the Estate Base Plan, Master Planning Feasibility Report and Sponsor’s Functional Requirements Brief;

providing design services required for the Development Phase of the project, including producing all design drawings and specfications the Concept Design Report (30% CDR), Schematic Design Report (50% SDR), Detail Design Report (90% DDR) and Final Design Report (100%) stages of the Works at the Chowder Bay DFI-M, including associated documentation, to provide to the Early Contractor Involvement Head Contractor (ECI HC) as part of the ECI HC Request for Tender and, in relation to the final design, upon commencement of the Delivery Phase (if any);

as part of an indicative lump sum for the Delivery Phase (if any) and subject to Department, Government and Parliamentary approval of the Works, the Consultant"s satisfactory performance during the Development Phase (as determined by the Commonwealth) and the Consultant"s timely submission of an updated Delivery Phase proposal for acceptance by the Commonwealth (at the Commonwealth’s discretion), providing services associated with the finalisation of the engagement of the ECI HC for the Delivery Phase and the delivery of the Works by the ECI HC;

preparing cost planning documentation and undertaking value management activities;

completing all site selection activities;

address environmental requirements;

co-presenting design deliverables to project stakeholders at workshops and addressing design comments to the satisfaction of the Project Manager and Contract Administrator (PMCA);

supporting the PMCA to develop the Detailed Business Case as required;

supporting and participating in the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works process as required;

support the PMCA in the procurement and knowledge transfer to potential future Contractors; and

undertaking other activities expected under a typical DSC engagement.
