* Accurate and authoritative; and

* Easily accessible whenever and wherever it is required.

* As per the National Collection Policy, electronic format is preferred to print/hardcopy unless the electronic format cannot be accessed by the client; or print is preferred due to the nature of the information or learning environment; or print/hardcopy is the only format available.
