The Customer is proposing to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement to cover The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW), as represented by the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD), which manages Australia’s interests in the Antarctic and surrounding areas through the Australian Antarctic Program. The AAD has four permanent research stations in Antarctica and the sub-Antarctic.

The AAD seeks to engage a Supplier withservices to the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD). More specifically, the AAD seeks to identify a Supplier who will provide:

· Suitably qualified and experienced personnel to travel to AAD’s Stations to complete the specified works

· any and all equipment and materials necessary to complete the works, and

· a safe system of work related to the works (eg planning, risk assessments, assist with obtaining blasting permits, etc)

For the purpose of:

· completing a stocktake of the AAD’s explosives as held on station,

· assessing the condition of existing magazines on station

· thereafter transporting the identified explosives to an approved location near station,

· disposing of the explosives by means of controlled detonation(s) subject to the requirements specified in such statutory approvals and or permits as may be required,

· completing environmental remedial works as required (‘cleaning up’), and preparing a report on the completed activities

The supply must be provided in accordance with the Statement of Requirement (SoR) in the ATM and subject to the terms and conditions set out in, or referred to, in ATM 24/3094 Explosives Disposal Services.

Timeframe for Delivery:

It is anticipated that the Deed of Standing Offer will take effect from 2 September 2024
