Following the release of the 2024 National Defence Strategy, the Integrated Investment Program and the Defence Industry Development Strategy by the Government, Navy will use this Maritime Domain Industry Forum to provide industry more detail on the maritime domain priorities in the rebuilt Integrated Investment Program. The focus of the engagement will be on the maritime domain in the context of the integrated and focused joint force. The aim is for industry to gain a better understanding of the Integrated Investment Program changes and information on when and where future industry opportunities may be available. Navy aims to give industry sufficient time and notice on Navy needs to enable it to lean in, invest and deliver accelerated Defence capabilities

Following the unclassified forum, Head Navy Capability will be facilitating a series of classified (SECRET) Working Groups with selected companies that align with Navy"s immediate industrial capability outcomes and that hold appropriate security clearances. This will be by invitation only across three focus sessions (undersea warfare, surface combatants and maritime C5 & enablers) and held in Canberra on 3 July 2024.

To be eligible for an invitation to attend a classified Working Group, you must have attended the unclassified Maritime Domain Industry Forum on 2 July 2024 and hold a current Australian Government Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher.

All expressions of interest will be reviewed and vetted to ensure attendees are eligible to attend and the business interests align with Navy"s immediate industrial capability outcomes .

Conditions for Participation:

The unclassified Maritime Domain Industry Forum is open to businesses, with an Australian-based industrial capability and an Australian Business Number, that have a current or future interest in supporting Defence and Navy in delivering Maritime Domain capabilities. Nominations for industry attendance are restricted to three representatives per company.
