The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking organisations interested in delivering an effective, efficient and culturally responsive pre-employment service for parents who experience disadvantage and who are caring for children aged under 6 years of age. The Service will support a parent’s future aspirations by strengthening their human capability and supporting them to build towards their education and employment goals, while respecting their needs and valuing their caring responsibilities.

The department has consulted extensively to design the Voluntary Pre-employment Service for parents with young children and is seeking responses from organisations interested in delivering these services from 1 November 2024.
