The Seasim Expansion project requires expansion and replacement of existing site services infrastructure, and this procurement includes for the following new services in new trenches:

• Seawater Rising Main Trench - New seawater line and a HV cable supply to be provided from the current seawater pocessing site through to the Marine Operations Substation. This requires approximately 1 km of treching and services installation in an existing road including a new 315mm HDPE seawater line, a 160 HDPE HV conduit and a 100mm communications coduit as well as associated pits etc.
• Electrical Incomer Trench - New Ergon 160mm HDPE incomer conduit, 100mm communications conduit and a 50mm Ergon communications coduit of approximately 750m in length.

The trenching works will progress largely within the existing roadway and involve extensive excavation in rock.
