The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking responses to this Request for Proposal (RFP) from entities including employers, employment services and training providers; and those in the community support and education sectors interested in delivering Local Recovery Fund Activities under the Workforce Australia Local Jobs in all 51 Employment Regions across Australia.

The objectives of Local Recovery Fund Activities are to:

· enable local stakeholders to work in collaboration with their local Employment Facilitator and Local Jobs and Skills Taskforce to design solutions to local issues regarding employment in their region and opportunities to better skill participants to meet local employer demand

· strongly link and address one or more priorities from the relevant Local Jobs Plan for the Employment Region in which they are proposing to deliver the Local Recovery Fund Activity

· enable eligible participants serviced through a Workforce Australia Employment Services Provider, ParentsNext or Transition to Work Provider to participate in Local Recovery Fund Activities.

This RFP is inviting proposals for activities that assist individuals into employment (or on the pathway to employment) and/or training.
