Wastesavers provide kerbside recycling collections of food waste and recycling on behalf of Newport City Council.

Wastesavers collect food waste from kerbside recycling collections and bulk it at their premises at Esperanto Way in Newport, for third party collection and haulage to the food waste processing facility in Aberdare.

NCC is seeking a successful contractor to provide a food waste haulage service from Wastesavers to the Bryn Pica food waste processing facility in Aberdare.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement

Newport City Council is seeking a suitably qualified and established liquid waste processor with experience of bulk tanker haulage and processing of landfill leachate to undertake the service from Newport City Council Docksway Waste Disposal Site.

The Leachate is to be collected from Newport City Council, Docksway site, and the contractor will be responsible for the safe and compliant loading of the liquid waste into their licensed vehicle.
