2.1 Title

Contract for Removal, Disposal Of Existing Roof Finishes And Reroofing Works Sketty Park Phase 1

2.2 Description of the contract

The purpose of the regeneration scheme underway within Swansea Council is to carry out works to upgrade Thermal Value to 42nr. Council owned properties at Sketty Park. Properties within regeneration scheme are tenanted 2/3 Bed semi-detached Properties, 2 storey Flats and 1 block of 4 storey flats. External Wall fabric is Traditional Cavity Wall Construction made up of an internal Blockwork Skin, 50mm Cavity and a pebble dashed Blockwork / brickwork external façade. To comply with the current WHQS, works will include the application of insulated render system, re-roofing and other works as detailed in this specification. Site visits may be arranged to assist with the detail required for tendering. Ascertain the nature of the site, access there to and all local conditions and restrictions and availability of resources likely to affect the execution of the Works.
