Stock fencing in the Elan valley, Gro woods, Sept 2023

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

Fencing around three sides of a small section of woodland on the side of Caban Coch reservoir known as the Gro. This is a 4.6 ha broadleaf woodland to the southwest of Rhayader (Grid ref SN911618).

Estimated total length of fence needing re-poling and repair: 650 metres

Estimated total number of new posts needed for re-poling: 140

Estimated total length of new fence needed: 260 metres

Work should be completed by the end of April 2024.
