Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CVUHB) is one of the largest NHS organisations in the UK which

provides day to day health services to a population of around 472,400 people living in Cardiff and the Vale of

Glamorgan.

The purpose of this contract is to provide engineering, inspection, and insurance cover for all sites within the

UHB. The contract remits the supplier to undertake engineering and inspection servicing as required by law

for a variety of mechanical parts including plants, lifts, and hoists.

Due to urgency of the requirement, it has been agreed that the contract is awarded to the incumbent through a direct award route of a framework.
