II.1.4) Short descriptionNorth Northamptonshire Council (hereafter referred to as the "Council") wishes to invite Tender Responses for the supply of Nightly Purchased, Supplier Managed Temporary Accommodation services in North Northamptonshire.
The Council is setting up a DPS for Nightly Purchased, Supplier Managed Temporary Accommodation Services. The award of the contract will be for an initial 36 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months, making 48 months in total.
Through a temporary accommodation service improvement project, in the short term the Council remains focussed on four main aims related to temporary accommodation use:
- Reducing the use of bed and breakfast / hotel accommodation
- Keeping the number of temporary accommodation placements outside of North Northamptonshire as close to zero as possible
- Improving the standards of nightly paid supplier managed temporary accommodation
- Maximising income from both council-owned and nightly paid temporary accommodation
