Pump Track Llandeilo Tender

1. Introduction

Contractors are invited to submit quotes for the construction of an asphalt pump track in Parc Le Conquet, Llandeilo. Further information is contained in the specification and the pricing schedule.

2. Background Information

The area reserved for the pump track has been levelled in February 2023 in preparation for the works and a design completed and submitted to planning. There are approximately 80 tons of subbase mixed with topsoil stored on site, available for the project from the initial levelling works.

3. Description of the Services Required

Construction of the pump track, drainage scheme, surfacing, landscaping, turfing, track markings and signage to the design and schedules in the specifications provided.

5.1 Quality Criteria (60%)

- We will assess the quality element by evaluating your response to the questions below. We will use the scoring matrix (Section 5.3) to evaluate the submissions.

- Please note that the following questions require a minimum score threshold of 3 (please see scoring matrix provided in Section 5.3) to be achieved in order to meet the minimum standards.

- FAILURE TO MEET THE MINIMUM STANDARD IN ANY QUESTION WILL RESULT IN YOUR SUBMISSION BEING EXCLUDED FROM THE EVALUATION PROCESS

- Bidders will be required to satisfy all aspects of the Quality Criteria.

- Please note that all questions have been weighted according to their importance. Therefore please ensure that your response has taken this into consideration.

- Please ensure that you adhere to the maximum page limit for each question. We will only evaluate the page limits set for each response.

Experience 35%

- Please provide a CV of your last 6 pump track projects. Include: track description, cost and client

references with current contact details.

- Highlight projects where you have worked successfully to a client design. Describe how you would work collaboratively; for example: how you would manage any design suggestions and changes to the benefit

of the client and their required outcomes. Please provide a client reference with current contact details.

- Please note that the response to this question must be no more than 7 sheets of A4 (Calibri 11) words in total.

- A minimum score of 3 out of 5 is required.

Timescale & Availability 10%

- Please provide a timeline / Gantt chart of your proposed work schedule, along with your start date and proposed completion date.

- Please provide an assurance that you can start on the date you provide and what mitigation you can provide in the event of your start on site being delayed (this project is subject to a funding spend schedule).

- Please note that the response to this question must be no more than 3 sheets of A4 (Calibri 11) in total.

- A minimum score of 3 out of 5 is required.
