II.1.4) Short descriptionThe Welsh Government seeks to establish a contract for the provision of of3 set rounds of badger vaccination within a 3 month period each year on Holy Island, for 4 consecutive years. The list of rounds will be provided by the client, and all vaccinations must be completed between May and October for each year of the Contract.

II.2.4) Description of the procurementA badger and biosecurity survey were carried out in March 2023. The survey identified badger activity to warrant 3 consecutive rounds of badger vaccination. OCVO therefore aims to start a vaccination project later in 2023.
The combined coverage of the rounds across Holy Island is 10km2.maximum
The successful Bidder must fully manage and undertake all activities in relation to the provision and service delivery of this Contract as stipulated within
this specification and associated Welsh Government’s Standard Conditions for the Supply of Services.
The successful Bidder must complete 3 set rounds of badger vaccination within a 3 month period each year on Holy Island, for 4 consecutive years. The list of rounds will be provided by the client, and all vaccinations must be completed between May and October for each year of the Contract.
