Provision of Generators and Associated services for Neath September Fair 2023

Neath Port Talbot Council invite tenders from suitable and experienced suppliers for the provision of the following for Neath September (13th to 16th) Fair 2023:

• The supply and installation of silent generators to provide individual supply of power to a maximum of 150 individual stalls (in 2022 there was approximately 80 stalls) throughout Neath Town Centre. However, please note the number of stalls may be subject to change and the successful tenderer needs to be flexible with the Council’s final arrangements.

• The supply of power cables and connection to the existing eleven electrical street pillars to supply power to as many individual stalls that each pillar allows for the duration of the event.

• To verify each stall holder holds a valid Electrical Safety Test Certificate before connecting the stall to a power supply.

• Cable Distribution

• Fuel (Diesel generators only)

• Adequate overnight security measures for the fixed mobile plant and equipment:

If needed the Council can make available adequate space for the provision of a contractor’ site/security cabin within the Neath Town Centre

• Adequate provision of on-site mechanical and on-site electrical personnel at all times during the daily operating period (8.00am – 11pm) to cover in particular electrical and mechanical failures during the course of the said daily operating period. A minimum response time of 30 minutes is required for any report of mechanical or electrical failure.

Suppliers’ Instructions ‘How to Express Interest in this ITT’:

1. Register your company on the etenderwales portal (this is required only once. However if your details have changed since you registered you will need to up-date them).

- Browse to the eSourcing Portal: www.etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk

- Click the ‘Suppliers register here’ link.

- Complete the ‘Organisation Details’ and ‘User Details’ sections.

- Note the username you choose and click ‘save’ when complete.

- You will shortly receive and email with your unique password (please keep this secure).

- Agree to the terms and conditions and click ‘continue’.

2. Express an interest in the ITT.

- Login to the portal with the username / password.

- Click the ‘ITT Open to all Suppliers’ link.

- Alternatively, search for the relevant ITT (itt_102723).

- Click on the relevant ITT to access the content.

- Click the ‘Express Interest’ button on the right-hand side of the screen.

- This will move the ITT into your ‘My ITT pages’. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only.)

- Click on the ITT code, you can now access any attachments by selecting ‘Buyer Attachments’.

3. Responding to the ITT.

- You can now choose to ‘Respond’ or ‘Decline to Respond’ (please give a reason if declining).

- Note the ‘Closing Date’, and then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.
