Carmarthenshire County Council, in association with Ceredigion County Council, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Pembrokeshire County Council, Powys County Council and Swansea Council, has undertaken a procurement exercise and appointed suitably experienced consulting engineers under a Framework Agreement, to enable the participating local authorities to procure a full range of engineering design services to meet their specific needs.

VII.2.1) Description of the modifications

AECOM UK was appointed as a replacement core consultant to the Framework on 08/12/2022, replacing Capita Property & Infrastructure Ltd.

To ensure the resilience of the Framework throughout its term the Councils will be operating a reserve list of consultants, as detailed in the tender documentation. The Reserve Consultants (as at December 2022) are:

Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee

Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

Following the acquisition of Capita REI and GL Hearn by WSP UK and in accordance with the Clause 13.1(r) of Volume 2 – Framework Agreement, Capita Property & Infrastructure Ltd.’s place on the Framework was formally terminated on 21/11/2022.
