This VEAT notice is to notify of our intention to award a contract for the supply of a service contract for the servicing of various pieces of specialised laboratory equipment. UKRI believes that no other suppliers are able to service this Tecniplast equipment and therefore competition is absent for technical reasons under regulation 32(2)(b)(ii).

This VEAT notice is to notify of our intention to award a contract for the supply of a service contract for the servicing of various pieces of spacilaised Techniplast laboratory equipment. The LMB believes that no other suppliers are able to service Tecniplast equipment. UKRI intends to award a contract to Techniplast UK Ltd as the only provider capable of meeting our requirements and considers that award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition is justified under regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) of the PCR 2015 because competition is absent for technical reasons.
