1. The Government of the Republic of Angola, through the Ministry of Finance, has received funds from the Agence Française de Développement (the French Development Agency) towards the cost of the
Agricultural and Rural Education and Training Support Project (PAFAR). The project is implemented by the Ministry of Education. It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract 1.2.1/PAFAR/2025.

2. The Ministry of Education now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of 24 buses (30-seater coaches) (“the Goods”).

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from procurement.pafar@gmail.com and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Project Implementation Unit - PAFAR street Dr. Egas Moniz, nº3 D.U. da Maianga, Luanda – Angola, between 08.00 to 14.00, every working days.

4. 4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from https://tenders-afd.dgmarket.com/

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of AOA (Forty thousand Kwanzas). The payment method will be by bank transfer in favor of PAFAR or direct deposit into the account Nº. 1004234694, IBAN: AO06 0060 0132 0100 4234 6941 2 ; Standard Bank.

6. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Agence Française de Développement’s Bidding Documents for Procurement of Goods.

7. Bids must be delivered on or before 9:00 AM, on December 17 and must be accompanied by a bid security of 8400 EUR or 8 357 580 AOA.
8. Bids will be opened in public and in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend before 9:00 AM, on December 17 at the offices of Project Implementation Unit – PAFAR, street Dr. Egas Moniz, nº3 D.U. da Maianga, Luanda – Angola.

9. Qualification criteria are provided in the Bidding Documents.
