INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING

SUPPLY OF 12 VEHICLES FOR AGRICULTURAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTES

Contract Description: Supply of 12 vehicles Pick Up Double Cabin 4x4 for Agricultural Technical Institutes
Contract Number: 1.2/PAFAR/2023

1. The Government of the Republic of Angola (GOA), through the Ministry of Finance (MinFin) as a borrower has signed a Financing Agreement with the French Agency for Development (AFD) for a loan for implementation by the Ministry of Education (Med) for the Agricultural and Rural Training Support Project - PAFAR, under the Financing Agreement Number CAO-1033.

2. The Government of Angola (GOA) intends to apply part of the funds for payments of 12 vehicles for the Agrarian Technical Institutes.
3. This Public Tender is after the General Tender Notice for this Project, published in the AFD platform DG market, on 03 /01/2023.

4. The Project - Ministry of Education invites eligible and qualified competitors to submit the qualification documents for the supply of 12 vehicles Pick Up Double 4x4 cabin, being a prerequisite for obtaining the Bidding Document.

5. The Tendering will be governed by the Procurement Guidelines for Contracts financed by AFD in Foreign Countries (version Oct.19), as provided for in the "Special Scheme" adopted for the Project and it is open to all companies that are eligible for the purpose, as defined in the Agency Guidelines.

6. Interested eligible competitors will be able to obtain more information from the Project Implementation Unit from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and obtain the Bidding Document after the submission of documents to pre-qualification, which includes:

a) Licences and experience in contracts for the supply of vehicles, in the role of principal supplier, subcontractor, or contractor for the management of the supply and its executed at least 2 contracts in the last 3 years expressing through a declaration of good performance by the previous customer.

7. Qualified competitors will be able to purchase a full set of Bidding Document upon payment of a non-refundable amount, equivalent to AOA 40,000.00 (Forty thousand Kwanzas). The method of payment will be by bank transfer in favour of The Project or direct deposit into the account No. 1003919251, IBAN: AO06006001320100391925109, Bank: Standard Bank.

8. Proposals must be delivered to the address below, before 14:00 hours on December 22, 2023, submission of electronic proposals will not be allowed. Late proposals will be rejected. Proposals will be opened in the presence of representatives of competitors who wish to attend in person, at the address below.
