The United Nations World Food Programme (hereinafter referred to as WFP), with its Headquarters located at Via C.G. Since the onset of the Ukraine emergency response in March 2022, WFP has made significant efforts to support local markets and national food systems while addressing food insecurity. Our approach prioritizes local sourcing whenever feasible. In 2025, 99 percent of the food distributed by WFP in Ukraine was procured locally, contributing directly to the strengthening of the Ukrainian economy.

The WFP Ukraine Country Office intends to expand its roster of qualified local suppliers for the following commodities: buckwheat, millet, yellow split peas, oat flakes, sugar. Eligible Ukrainian suppliers are invited to submit an expression of Interest and undergo the supplier qualification process.
