The International Labour Organization (ILO) has been implementing the Promoting a safe and healthy working environment in Thailand and Cambodia project since 2024. Supported by funding from the Government of Japan, the project aims to promote a safe and healthy working environment with a focus on emerging OSH issues especially psychosocial hazards and excessive heat in Thailand and Cambodia.
As part of the projects intervention and in response to a request from the mental health at work expert group, the project leveraged existing ILO/WHO joint policy brief on Mental health at work by translating them into Thai to serve as a knowledge resource for further use by relevant stakeholders.
The service provider will be tasked with creating the layout and design of the Thai version of the ILO/WHO joint policy brief on Mental health at work.
The task is to create the layout and design of the Thai-translated policy brief file in accordance with the formatting and style of the English version of the guides as well as the ILO branding guidelines. The AI file (.ai) file of the English version of the policy brief (20 pages in total), along with Word documents of the Thai translation (approximately 12,332 words), will be provided.
The final design will be delivered in an electronic, online-publishable format and print-ready format (InDesign file, .ai and .pdf, or other mutually agreed formats), and the collaborator shall make any necessary modifications as requested until the Project is fully satisfied.
The service provider will commence the work upon the signing of this contract, with the expected contract duration spanning from Friday, 20 March 2026 to Friday, 3 April 2026. The final version of the design files for 2 Thai translated guides must be delivered to the satisfaction of the ILO by Friday, 3 April 2026. The final design will be delivered in an electronic, online-publishable format and print-ready format (InDesign file, .ai and .pdf, or other mutually agreed formats).
The service provider will work under the overall supervision of National Project Coordinator in Thailand and the technical supervision of the senior OSH specialist of the ILO DWT-Bangkok.
The service provider is expected to have the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of graphic design experience producing similar materials;
- Good capacity to manage graphic designing software such as InDesign, Adobe Design
- Premium, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite products and Canva;
- Demonstrate creativity and can work in an organized manner;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- The Thai-translated policy brief are laid out and designed to align with their English version.
- The designed Thai-translated policy brief is delivered in an electronic, online-publishable format and print-ready format (InDesign file, .ai and .pdf, or other mutually agreed formats).
- The design adheres with ILO branding and style guide.
- The visuals and content are clear and professional.
