National Consultant - Design of ProDoc for HPMP III and KIP I Preparation (Албания - Тендер #70413979)

Description of the Assignment:  Bangladesh is a Party to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, with successive commitments to phase out HCFCs, and most recently, to phase-down and manage the lifecycle of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). Despite significant progress in eliminating these controlled substances ahead of schedule the country still faces new challenges in meeting its MP targets and scaling up sustainable alternatives and hence is eligible to access the Multilateral Fund to design new Stages of Phase-out/Phase-down projects.

UNDP, as Lead Implementing Agency for the Montreal Protocol Programme in Bangladesh, was requested to support the Government of Bangladesh to prepare its HCFCs Management Plans (HPMP, Stage III) and its Kigali Amendment HFCs Phase-down Plans (KIP Stage I), and as part of the preparation activities, the country is required to develop over-arching strategies and sector-wise management plans/projects, therefore, a Lead International Consultant for project preparation/development is being recruited by the UNDP Country Office.

Period of assignment/services: 50 days over a period of 10 months (from 01 March 2026 – 31 Decembers 2026).
