Description
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Under the
Manzuma Project, this assignment will support the ILO in advancing market systems development and enterprise growth across the food industry, food services and catering, and chemicals
sectors, with a strong cross-cutting focus on renewable and solar energy solutions. Building on existing market analyses, the Market Facilitator will conduct continued sector scoping and
direct engagement with private and public sector actors to identify partnership opportunities and co-design transformative pilot initiatives that address key constraints, particularly
high energy costs, and unlock new business opportunities. The assignment includes extensive market facilitation activities, including structured consultations with enterprises and system
actors, business-oriented dialogue and negotiations, and the delivery of at least eight brainstorming and advisory sessions with the ILO and partners, supported by analytical
presentations. In parallel, the consultant will conduct a focused exploration of the renewable and solar energy sector, covering supply and demand of solutions, business models, pricing
and investment costs, return on investment for enterprises, regulatory conditions, incentives, and opportunities for scaling energy solutions among MSMEs. The work will result in
practical recommendations, a digital inventory of consulted actors, and a concise operational assessment of the renewable energy market, directly supporting the design and implementation
of scalable interventions that contribute to enterprise competitiveness, sustainable job creation, and inclusive economic growth for Jordanians and Syrian refugees. Please submit your
proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
