2. GENERAL SERVICE REQUIREMENTS The C&F Agent, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor for this document, shall perform logistics services for and on behalf of the UNICEF Country Office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The scope of services to be performed may include (but not limited to): Services Product/deliverable a. Clearance for import and export of air/sea shipments and storage as per attached Schedule I. (duty-free, on bank guarantee or duty paid via treasury vote system) Service provided as per UNICEF Authorization/Work Order. b. Services for import and exportation of vehicles as per attached Schedule II. c. Value added services as per attached Schedule III. d. Inland wide transport services as per attached Schedule IV.
The Contractor may also be requested to perform other related services not covered under this agreement. In such cases, the Contractor must submit service rates for prior UNICEF approval. Once accepted, these rates will be considered part of the contract until revoked. Upon completion of each assignment, UNICEF will review the Contractors performance against the performance management metrics outlined in this ToR. The purpose of this review is to improve service quality, enhance mutual understanding between UNICEF and the Contractor, and evaluate overall outputs for continuous improvement. While this ToR and attached schedule of work detail services primarily for UNICEF, they may also be extended to other UN agencies in Sri Lanka under a piggybacking arrangement.
