Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) Country Office for Nepal is looking for an individual to undertake work as an International External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The External Collaborator will provide support to the EWPN in the implementation of the ILO components on value chain interventions supporting access to market for women within selected agriculture value chains. A special focus will be placed on implementation and oversight of production and market linkages of selected value chain products, and work with various stakeholders, including women’s farmers groups, cooperatives, Agriculture Market Management Committee (AMMC), wholesale buyers, local and provincial governments, etc. The incumbent will provide comprehensive and professional services for the efficient, effective, and women-centered delivery of programming activities on value chain interventions and women’s economic empowerment. He/she will visit project areas in Sudurpashchim, provide technical inputs and ensure the smooth implementation of planned activities. These cover technical support to women’s groups and cooperatives; development and implementation of marketing guidelines, operationalisation of buyer seller agreement, capacity development of Agriculture Market Management Committee (AMMC), bulk buyers and local government, establishment of digital information management system and sharing system between producers and buyers, as well as documentation of best practices.
