Description

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi, Italy, invites suitably qualified vendors to express their interest in participating in an upcoming solicitation exercise for the supply of medium-voltage electricity to the UNGSC premises in Brindisi, Italy. UNGSC intends to establish a long-term contract with the selected vendor for a period of two (2) years (1+1). The specifications of power provision are as follows: • Type of Power Supply: Medium Voltage • Nominal Voltage: 20 kV • Nominal frequency: 50 Hz • Bidders shall confirm that 100% of the electricity originates from certified renewable energy sources, in accordance with applicable European Union and national regulations. The yearly electricity consumption is as follows: 1. Connection Point 1: IT001E89464064 (Via U. Maddalena - 72100 Brindisi, Italy) • Power consumption: ~1,260,000 kWh/year • Maximum power requirement: 522 kW 2. Connection Point 2: IT001E00221467 (Via Materdomini - 72100 Brindisi, Italy) • Power consumption: ~4,360,000 kWh/year • Maximum power requirement: 7,000 kW 3. Connection Point 3: IT001E00211164 (Via Minniti, 1 - 72100 Brindisi, Italy) • Power consumption: ~60,000 kWh/year • Maximum power requirement: 507 kW Qualifications: Bidders must be listed in the official register of active electricity suppliers under the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment (ARERA). The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI. Specific Requirements/Information Interested vendors must possess the necessary technical expertise and capacity to provide the required services, as only suitably qualified vendors will be invited to particpate in the solicitaiton process, which will commence upon finalization of this REOI exercise. Vendors submitting an Expressing of Interest must be registered with UNGM at minimum, the Basic Level. Vendors who are not registered in UNGM will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent solicitation stage. Details of the technical evaluation criteria and other specific requirements will be shared with vendors invited to the solicitation. Vendors with any of the following attibutes are strongly encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest: (a) Disability inclusive orgamizations, (b) Demonstrated commitment to achieving gender equality (c) Recognized status as a woman-owned busines (d) Vendors from developing countries, countries with economies in transition or least developed countries. Please note that submission of an Expression of Interest does not guarantee participation in the upcoming Request for Proposal. Only vendors that are deemed suitably qualified will be invited to proceed.
