Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The
assignment involves conducting an actuarial review to assess the impact of proposed social health insurance reforms. The consultant will support the Senior Social Security Actuary by
reviewing and validating administrative, demographic, and economic data, applying actuarial normalization where needed, and analysing current health expenditure, utilization, unit costs,
and provider capacity in Oman’s social health protection systems. The work includes developing actuarial assumptions, designing and validating reform scenarios, building an Excel-based
health model to project revenues and expenditures, and contributing to the ILO/HEALTH model customization. The consultant will also assist in preparing presentations, participate in
workshops, and contribute to drafting the actuarial review report following international actuarial standards and ISSA-ILO guidelines. Please note that if travel is required for this
