Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: This collaboration aims to assess the institutional readiness and propose administrative and governance modalities for expanding social protection systems for migrant workers at both national and regional levels. In Qatar, the collaboration sees to assess the institutional readiness to administer a comprehensive insurance scheme. In Kuwait, the collaboration seeks to evaluate the institutional capacity to manage a new employment injury compensation system and a provident fund. At the regional level, the collaboration aims at assessing the readiness to a Gulf Social Insurance Clearing House (SICH) to facilitate multilateral coordination of social protection entitlements for migrant workers across the GCC and with countries of origin. Please note that if travel is required for this assignment, the necessary travel costs will be covered by the ILO.
