Dear Bidder , The ILO is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The Digital Communications & Social
Media Consultant will provide strategic communication and visibility support to the UN Joint Programme “Agri-Systems Transformation through Biomass Processing for Decent Job Creation
and Extension of Social Protection” in Namibia. Implemented by ILO,UNDP and FAO with the Government of Namibia. The consultant will develop and implement a communication and visibility
strategy aligned with UN Joint SDG Fund guidelines and partner priorities. They will produce high-quality outputs—press releases, newsletters, infographics, human-interest stories,
video features, and social media content—and support design of the Global Accelerator’s annual report, advocacy materials and knowledge products inline with UN standards and donor
visibility requirements. The role will enhance the programme’s visibility at national, regional and global levels, tailoring messages for government entities, private sector,
development partners, civil society, youth, women, people with disabilities and rural communities to strengthen awareness and engagement. Communication will spot light innovation in
agriculture and biomass, social protection, women’s rights, youth employment and SDGs 1, 8 and 10. The consultant will also ensure visibility at national and high-level events,
roundtables and workshops, while documenting impact stories and lessons learned. Reporting to the UN JP Project Coordinator, they will collaborate with the UNRCO Communication Specialist,
communications officers from ILO, UNDP, FAO,UNIC Namibia and government partners. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the
